User Interface
Simply put, Vorpal's workflow should be centralized around a single initial page, which provides both simple to understand information, and access to commonly used tasks (Dashboard). For more involved administration, a separate, tabbed/sectioned page (Administration) should provide in depth access to all of the functionality.
Dashboard
The dashboard should provide easy monitor and administer common tasks. It should be configurable on a per user/group basis. (Should we have an 'Administrator' group, and a 'User', which provides the default configuration for new users, but store the layout based on each user.)
The widget layout should be much like the iGoogle interface. This can easily be achieved with jQueryUI.
